Bob and Erin spend the majority of their free time working on their philanthropic endeavors, which include serving returning military veterans and providing water wells, orphan homes and other humanitarian relief to women and children in Africa.

President – Partner: Kay Lynn Mayhue, CFP®, AEP®, RFC® joined Botsford Financial Group in 1998 after graduating cum laude from the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning. She oversees key strategic policy determinations and operations for the company. She also serves as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer. Kay Lynn is a key member of the Botsford Financial Group Management Committee that leads the firm’s efforts to deliver best-in-class services to our clients and oversees the advisor teams and the process by which they deliver advice. She also sits on our investment committee. This committee performs the extensive due diligence on various types of traditional and nontraditional investments.
Kay Lynn holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification as well as the Series 7 – General Securities Representative, Series 63 – Uniform Securities Agent, Series 65 –Uniform Investment Advisor registrations, Series 24 – General Securities Principal designation and the Group One Insurance License. Securities registrations are held with LPL Financial. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Kay Lynn develops meaningful relationships with clients to fully evaluate their financial situation and future goals. In addition, she has successfully met initial and ongoing standards to provide estate planning advice and guidance to individuals and families as an Accredited Estate Planner – AEP®. The extensive training, experience requirements and high ethical standards of both the CFP® and the AEP® designations have provided her the foundation to understand the complexities of the changing financial climate and make suitable recommendations in the best interest of our clients. Kay Lynn developed her theoretical and practical knowledge by completing a comprehensive financial planning curriculum at the University of North Texas which was approved by the CFP Board. When Kay Lynn is not working with her clients, she dedicates her time to her family and personal passions. She and her husband, Greg, live in Roswell, GA with their four children (Madison, Bowen, Keaton and Campbell) and rescue dog (Lulu). Kay Lynn enjoys traveling with her family, running, fine wine and is also an avid reader. She worships and serves at North Point Community Church. She sits on the leadership team for the Atlanta chapter of 4Word – an organization for Christian career women. Kay Lynn is also a regular volunteer with CURE Childhood Cancer.

Kyle Shores joined Botsford Financial Group in 2001, after graduating from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning. Kyle’s primary role is an advisor at Botsford Financial Group. In this role, he is instrumental in assisting clients with retirement planning, portfolio design, investment strategy, implementation and ongoing monitoring of their assets. Kyle serves as the head of our Investment Committee that leads the firm’s efforts to find new traditional and nontraditional investments that meet our firm’s criteria. Kyle is also key in tracking existing investments for the team and our clients.
He is a member of Botsford Financial Group’s Management Committee that leads the firm’s efforts to deliver best-in-class service to our clients. Kyle holds the Series 7 – General Securities Representative, Series 63 – Uniform Securities Agent, Series 65 – Uniform Investment Advisor and Group One Insurance License. Securities registrations are held with LPL Financial.
Kyle was recognized as one of the Dallas/Fort Worth’s Five Star Wealth Managers by Texas Monthly magazine in 2010 (the inaugural year for the award), 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. He lives in Flower Mound, TX with his two boys, Cameron and Dalton. Kyle’s life outside of work revolves around the boys baseball schedule and they enjoy cheering on all the local professional sports teams.
Blaine became intrigued with the financial markets while in college at Texas Tech University. This intrigue led him to pursue a career in financial services in the Dallas area upon graduation in 1999. The curiosity that led him to a career in financial services was quickly replaced with a passion to help clients plan what their investments would do for them in retirement and how the clients could achieve their financial goals. Working beside his clients with a personally tailored touch, Blaine ensures each client receives professional advice customized to their specific needs and situation.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Blaine understands the need to stay up-to-date with the changing landscape of financial planning. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Marketing, and currently holds his Series 6, 7, 24, 63, and 66 registrations through LPL Financial as well as his Group One Insurance license. He has been recognized as one of the Dallas/Fort Worth Five Star Wealth Managers* by Texas Monthly magazine each year from 2011 to 2014.
Based in our Frisco, Texas office, Blaine’s primary role at Botsford Financial Group is serving as a Financial Advisor to many of our clients. In this role, he is instrumental in assisting clients with retirement planning, portfolio design, investment strategy, implementation and ongoing monitoring of their assets. In addition to his role as a Financial Advisor, Blaine also serves as a member of Botsford Financial Group’s Management Committee that leads the firm’s efforts to deliver best-in-class service and helps shape the firm’s advice. He also is a member of the Investment Committee. This committee performs due diligence on various types of investments, as well as defines the investment policy of the firm.
Blaine joined Botsford Financial Group in 2009, bringing nine years of industry experience to the firm. Prior to Botsford Financial Group, he spent six years as Vice President/Financial Consultant at Charles Schwab working with high net worth clients on asset allocation, investment management and planning strategies in their Downtown Dallas office. Prior to that, Blaine was a Financial Advisor with H&R Block Financial Advisors.
When Blaine is not working with his clients, he dedicates his time to family and personal passions. Blaine lives in Sachse, TX with his wife Heather and their three active sons, Brody, Hunter and James. Blaine is a coach with his boys’ soccer and baseball teams. When he is not in the office or on the ball fields, he enjoys golfing and staying up to date with Texas Tech sports teams. He also has the privilege of sitting on the board for Activism for Empowerment, a non-profit foundation keeping the public informed and involved on issues dealing with domestic violence and abuse. Blaine still has strong ties to the Houston area, and can often be found at his parent’s house in Katy around the holidays.
JP’s primary role is as a Relationship Manager to clients of Botsford Financial Group. In this role, he serves as the key link between our clients’ objectives and the plan that is created. JP helps facilitate the planning process to provide a unique client experience. JP also serves as the Director of Client Operations for Botsford Financial Group. In this position, JP’s primary responsibility is to monitor and support the implementation of potential investment opportunities or assist with the implementation of the investment plan for the firm’s clients. His role also entails being an active member of the firm’s Investment Committee, which establishes and monitors asset allocations, manager selection/retention and other portfolio management decisions made for our firm.
He also serves as Director of Technology for Botsford Financial Group. In this position, JP’s primary responsibility is strategic oversight and execution of the firm’s technology platforms. JP is a key member of Botsford Financial Group’s Management Committee that leads the firm’s efforts to deliver best-in-class services to our clients. Lastly, JP handles the onboarding process for new employees of Botsford Financial Group and facilitates our internship program.
JP graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Financial Services. He currently holds the Series 7 – General Securities Representative registration, and Series 66 – Uniform Investment Advisor registration with LPL Financial, and the Group One Insurance license. JP started his career with Botsford Financial Group in 2005.
JP is married to Leslie and they have one beautiful daughter named Brynn. JP is an active member of Ducks Unlimited. In his free time, he likes to travel, fish and hunt.
Brad Cast is a key component of our Atlanta office. He actively manages several high level client relationships while specializing in the areas of liability, estate and financial planning. As part of his role, Brad is instrumental in creating customized planning reports and illustrations for high net worth executives and retirees.
Prior to joining Botsford Financial Group in 2004, Brad was a Senior Financial Planner with KPMG LLP. In addition to a business degree from Midwestern State University, Brad also holds the Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 65 (Uniform Investment Advisor Law), and Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent) registrations with LPL Financial and is a licensed Life, Accident & Sickness agent in Georgia. Brad is qualified to sit for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification exam, having completed the required qualifying program through The American College. He resides in Dunwoody, GA with his wife, Karen, and daughter, Madeline.
As the Director of Financial Services, Zac is a Financial Advisor and he oversees the financial planning department. He assists clients throughout the financial planning process, focusing mainly on retirement planning, cash flow analysis, investment planning and social security strategies.
Zac started his career in 2007 while working toward a Master of Science degree while working part time for a financial planner/advisor reviewing estate documents and financial plans. He attended Texas Tech University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies and a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning.
After graduating Zac moved to Dallas and began working for a small RIA as an associate financial planner. During his time there, he was in charge of all new client financial plans, current client annual reviews, daily rebalancing a small CPA firm’s 401(k) plan, and was in charge of the company’s transition to a new financial planning software.
From 2011 to 2013 through Texas A&M Commerce, he taught the Tax Planning module for a CFP® certification program.
Zac Joined Botsford Financial Group in 2011 as the Regional Director of Financial Planning. His initial role was to determine which planning software would best fit Botsford Financial Group’s structure, as well as to create and present financial plans for the advisors. As the firm grew, he was able to hire and train a new associate planner to take over the day to day data input. This allowed him to grow into a relationship manager role where he actively supported the advisors. After some time of being a relationship manager, he moved into an advisor position.
Zac is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and also holds his series 65 – Uniform Investment Advisor, Series 63 – Uniform Securities Agent, Series 7 – General Securities Representative registrations with LPL Financial and has his Texas General Lines Life, Accident, and Health Agent license.
Zac is a current member of the Dallas Fort Worth Chapter of the Financial Planning Association. Through the Financial Planning Association Pro Bono Committee, he has worked with Junior Achievement of Dallas and advised pro bono clients on everyday financial issues. Zac lives in McKinney, TX with his wife Holly, son Conley and daughter Cambrie. In his free time he enjoys traveling with his family, building and riding bikes and playing legos with his kids.
Jennifer joined Botsford Financial Group in 2007. Jennifer has over 16 years of industry experience under her belt, having worked with such companies as Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley prior to joining the Botsford Financial team. Jennifer currently holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CERTIFIED DIVORCE FINANCIAL ANALYST™ designations, as well as the Series 7 – General Securities Representative, Series 63 – Uniform Securities Agent, and Series 24 – General Securities Principal registrations with LPL Financial. She also holds the Series 65 – Uniform Investment Advisor with Stratos Wealth Partners. In addition, Jennifer currently holds her Georgia Life, Accident and Health and Variable Products licenses. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and obtained the Duke University Executive Certificate in Certified Financial Planning in 2006.
As a Relationship Manager based in the Atlanta office, Jennifer assists with the development of customized financial statements for clients throughout their planning process. This includes the execution of planning strategies and the coordination of efforts from various institutions outside of Botsford Financial Group. She also shares in the ongoing task of communicating with clients, internal operations and the coordination of steps necessary to complete the planning process. In addition to time spent managing her various client relationships, Jennifer also assists her Botsford Financial colleagues with all facets of client insurance and risk management needs, tax planning strategies, as well as estate plan design.
Jennifer is married to Chris and together, they are the parents to a beautiful daughter, Mallory Stafford Mann. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, biking, boating and spending time with her family. She is a proud member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, where she especially enjoys her service on the Vestry and the Altar Guild.
Prior to Botsford Financial Group, Nate earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas Tech University. Nate served eight years in the United States Air Force as an officer/pilot. He was an Instructor Pilot in the C-17A and amassed over 650 hours of combat flying time. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, three Air Medals and two Air Force Commendation Medals before separating in the rank of Captain. During his service, Nate graduated from American Military University with an MBA in Global Business in 2012.
His passion to serve along with his love of finance guided him in pursuing a career in Wealth Management. Just as he never flew any mission without a detailed plan, Nate understands the importance of detailed thorough planning when it comes to achieving your financial goals.
Nate was a financial advisor with a large financial institution where he obtained his Series 7 & 66. The Series 7 registration is held through LPL Financial, and the Series 66 registration is held through LPL Financial and Stratos Wealth Partners. He also holds his life, accident, and sickness insurance license for Texas. He then made the move to go from a traditional wire house to an independent financial planning firm because Nate believed his clients would be better served in an independent environment.
When Nate is not working with clients, he dedicates his time to his family, friends and passions. He lives in Dallas with his wife Crystal. Nate enjoys flying, playing golf, working out, and is an active member of the Dallas Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter. Nate and Crystal attend the Village Church.
Lindsey Littleton brings more than 13 years of business development, marketing and public relations experience to her role at Botsford Financial Group. Lindsey is responsible for spearheading the overall growth and direction of the company’s marketing initiatives, client development, brand image, and the implementation and management of ongoing marketing projects.
Lindsey is a 2003 graduate of Texas Tech University where she majored in International Business, with minors in Marketing & Spanish.
Lindsey enjoys serving as a volunteer for several local non-profit organizations, painting and playing golf any chance she can get. She lives in Frisco, Texas with her husband, Aaron and their son, Jett.
Chad joined Botsford Financial Group in 2015. Chad has over 12 years of industry experience under his belt, having worked with such companies as AIM Systems, Inc. and Highland Capital Brokerage prior to joining the Botsford Financial team. Chad currently holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional designation, as well as the Series 7 – General Securities Representative, and Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent with LPL Financial. In addition, Chad currently holds his Georgia Life, Accident and Sickness and Variable Products licenses. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2000 with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. As a Relationship Manager based in the Atlanta office, Chad assists with the development of customized financial statements for clients throughout their planning process. This includes the execution of planning strategies and the coordination of efforts from various institutions outside of Botsford Financial Group. He also shares in the ongoing task of communicating with clients, internal operations and the coordination of steps necessary to complete the planning process. In addition to time spent managing his various client relationships, Chad also assists his Botsford Financial colleagues with all facets of client insurance and risk management needs, tax planning strategies and coordination with CPA’s, as well as estate plan design. In his free time, Chad enjoys playing music, basketball and supporting the Georgia Bulldogs. Chad resides in Roswell, GA with his wife, Brooke, and son, Ben.
As a Relationship Manager, Joey analyzes and processes documentation in order to assist in the development of client financial and investment plans. Before joining Botsford Financial Group, Joey attended Texas Tech University where he obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning. Joey also gained experience by completing an internship at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Lubbock, TX. After Graduation, Joey relocated to McKinney, TX where he now likes to spend his free time working out and keeping up with his love for sports. He is also dedicated to obtain his Series 7 – General Securities Representative registration, Series 66 – Uniform Investment Advisor and his Insurance license.
Before joining Botsford Financial Group, Allyson attended Baylor University School of Law where she concentrated her studies in Estate Planning. Allyson received her juris doctorate in 2014 and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas that same year. Prior to law school, Allyson attended Tulane University where she received her Bachelors of Science in Management. Additionally, Allyson currently holds her Series 7 registration through LPL Financial and 66 registration through LPL Financial and Stratos Wealth Partners as well has her Texas Insurance license.
Based in our Frisco, Texas office, Allyson’s primary role at Botsford Financial Group is serving as a Relationship Manager and Estate Planning Coordinator for many of our clients. In this role, she assists clients with designing and implementing an estate plan, retirement planning, investment strategy, service related requests and ongoing monitoring of their assets. In addition, Allyson keeps abreast of ongoing legislative changes in the Estate Planning arena. She is an active member of the Estate Planning Council of North Texas.
When Allyson is not working with clients, she enjoys spending time with her family and close friends. She lives in Plano, Texas with her miniature labradoodle, Bailey. Allyson is an avid Dallas Mavericks fans and loves to catch as many games as she can. She also enjoys participating in various 5k and 10k races across the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
Tami Snider is the director of processing for the firm. In this role Tami assists the team with providing a positive client experience. She provides excellent customer service with her timeliness and follow-through. Tami is responsible for implementing new client investments as well as service requests on existing investments. She coordinates administrative aspects of client portfolios. She also assists in coordinating our volunteer activities as we strive to leave our footprint in our community.
Tami joined Botsford Financial Group in 2014. She brings 16 years of experience in the finance industry to the group. She currently holds her Series 7 and Series 66 registrations through LPL Financial and her TX Life and Health Insurance license.
Tami currently lives in Frisco, TX where she is a member of Preston Trails Community Church and participates in boot camp with Texas Fit Chicks. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves to travel and explore new places and is an avid reader and collector of books.
Michelle Shields is the client service associate in the Frisco, TX office. In this role, Michelle strives to provide world class customer service to everyone she encounters while facilitating the administrative aspects of client portfolios. Michelle assists in implementing new client investments, as well as service requests on existing investments.
Michelle joined the firm after 4 years of working in the mortgage industry as a loan officer assistant and loan processor. Michelle resides in McKinney, TX with her husband Jeremy, and their son Brady. When she’s not in the office, she is spending time outdoors at every opportunity with her son or in the kitchen learning to prepare a new dish.
